The Bachelor of Arts (BA) General
Program is a 3 year degree program
offered by the University with a
view to impart students a holistic
view of various aspects of the
Humanities and the Social Sciences.
Students may choose among electives in Political Science, English, Economics, IT and Geography as a part of their course.
Award of Degree :
Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the ?Bachelor of Arts? Degree by the University.
Pass in Class XII (any discipline) with minimum 35% aggregate marks. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.
The BA (General) program consists of 24 courses covered in six semesters spread over three years. Students are required to complete 18 elective papers and 6 compulsory papers. Students are additionally required to complete two summer projects at the end of Year-I and Year-II respectively.
