University Grants Commission (UGC)

The ICFAI University Mizoram has been listed by the UGC, under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University is competent to award Degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act vide Letter No.F.9-16/2007 (CPP-I), dated – November 4, 2009.

Distance Education Council

The Distance Educational Council (DEC) through its letter No. DEC/Mizo/ICFAI/08/15386, dated 03-11-2008 has approved the ICFAI University, Mizoram to launch programs through distance education mode.

The Distance Education Bureau, A Bureau of University Grants Commision(UGC) has renewed the approval through their letter No. UGC/DEB/ICFAI/Aizwal/2014/1379, dated 26-09-2014.
