The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Program in Political Science is a three year full-time degree program offered by the ICFAI University Mizoram. It focuses on the study of citizenship, government and politics. Students learn about the role of government, the nature of politics and different political institutions in India and throughout the world.

Award :
Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the "Bachelor of Arts (Honours)" Degree in Political Science by the University, subject to University regulations.

Eligibility
Pass in 10+2 in any discipline with an aggregate marks of 40%. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.

Program Structure

The BA (Honours) Program in Political Science consists of 28 courses covered in six semesters spread over three years including an undergraduate dissertation. Students will be required to complete 18 core subjects in addition to 5 Choice Based Electives and 5 Compulsory Papers. Students are additionally required to complete two summer projects at the end of Year-I and Year-II respectively and a dissertation in the sixth semester. Electives will be choice based electives from other disciplines.

Electives: Choice based electives for the BA (Honours) course may be chosen from various fields offered by the University including Humanities, Management and IT. The Electives offered are subject to change based on the portfolio of subjects offered by the instructors.
