The Master of Science (M.Sc) in
Geography is a 2 year full time campus
program offered by the University with
a view to impart in-depth knowledge
on advanced concepts in the fields of
Physical and Human Geography and
their various subfields. The course
has a strong focus on the practical
application of concepts and research.
Award of Degree:
Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the “Master of Science in Geography” Degree by the University.
Pass in graduation in Geography or an allied discipline with minimum 40% aggregate marks. Graduates from other disciplines may submit an application to the Registrar for special consideration. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.
The M.Sc Program is organized into 4 semesters in two years. Students are required to complete 14 Core Papers and 2 electives. Students are additionally required to complete a Study Tour, a Master’s research project and a Postgraduate Dissertation.
