  • Dr. Lalsangliani participated in the IP Awareness Training Program under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission, organized by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and TradeMarks, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, on 5th July, 2022.
  • Dr. Lalsangliani participated in the National Online Faculty Development Program organized by School of Legal Science, K.R. Mangalam University during 8th August - 13th August, 2022 and presented a paper on ‘Changing Dimensions of Legal Education in Contemporary Era’.
  • Fiona Lalmalsawmi, Department of Political Science, presented a joint paper at the ‘National seminar on Local Governance & Management in Northeast India’ organized by Department of Management, Mizoram University, on the topic “Convergence of Local Governance Administration (Village Council) with Self-Help Group (SHG) under Mizoram State Rural Livelihood Mission”.
  • Zairemmawii Ralte, Department of Hospitality, served as a resource person for the Village Level Development Program - Eco-Tourism and Hospitality, a pilot program conducted under the supervision of the Planning & Program Implementation Department of the Mizoram Government. It was part of the Ailawng EPA Launching Program, organized by the Mizoram Science, Technology & Innovation Council, an autonomous Government Institution operating under the Directorate of Science & Technology. The event took place on June 10th, 2022, in Ailawng Village.
  • Dr. Zothanchhungi, Department of Commerce, participated in the Information Session on Fulbright by Nehru Postdoctoral Research and Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship for Postdoctoral, Fulbright India Commission, 1st July, 2022.

  • Dr. Laithangpuii, Department of History, was a panelist in the 3rd International Workshop on Scientific Applications in South Asian Archaeology. This event was held on December 9th and 10th, 2022, at Hotel Jäpfu in Kohima, Nagaland. The workshop served as an integrative platform to discuss research aimed at reconstructing the past. During the workshop, Dr. Laithangpuii also presented a paper entitled ‘Status of Archaeology in Mizoram: Problems and Prospects’.

  • Lalruattluanga, Department of Geography, organized a special lecture program on ‘Geography and its Relevance’ on 27th and 28th September, 2022.
  • Zairemmawii Ralte, Department of BBA, served as a resource person to promote the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at four different schools. The promotion events took place as follows: at Bethel Mission School in Champhai and Champhai High School, on November 2nd, 2022; at Calvin Higher Secondary School in Hunthar, Aizawl, on January 27th, 2023; and at New Hope School in Khatla, Aizawl, on February 2nd, 2023.
  • Zairemmawii Ralte, Department of BBA, attended training for the ‘10th Edition of International Tourism Mart’, at Vanapa Hall, Aizawl with Yuva Tourism Club members.
  • Zairemmawii Ralte, Department of BBA, served as Nodal Officer in the 10th Edition of the International Tourism Mart held from 16th to 19th November, 2022 at AR Lammual, Aizawl, R. Denthuama Hall, Mualpui and Raj Bhavan, Aizawl.
  • Dr LalthanpuiiSailo, Department of History, served as Joint Editor on the Historical Journal Mizoram Vol.X vol. XXIII.
  • Lalruattluanga, Department of Geography, completed a professional development program on ‘Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 for University and College Teacher’, organized by Indira Gandhi National Open University.
  • Lalruattluanga, Department of Geography, organized a special lecture on ‘Spatial Geography and Scope’ innovation and careers in geography.
  • Dr. Laithangpuii, Department of History, participated as a study team member in the accidental discovery of a stone sculpture at Darlawn, Mizoram. The team was constituted by the Director of the Art & Culture Department of the Government of Mizoram. Team members included Vanlalhuma Singson, archaeologist from Art & Culture Department, Government of Mizoram; Dr. J. Malsawma, Assistant Professor, Geology Department at Mizoram University; Dr. Lalhminghlua, from the Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune; and Dr. Laithangpuii, Assistant Professor Department of History at ICFAI University Mizoram. From October 2022 to January 2023, this team worked on assembling pottery shards from an excavation originally conducted in April 2022 at Ailawng. This archaeological endeavor was a collaboration between the Department of History, ICFAI University Mizoram, Mizo Archaeological Society, and the Art & Culture Department of the Government of Mizoram. The reassembled pot has since been transferred to the Mizoram State Museum in Aizawl for preservation and display.
  • Dr. Laithangpuii, Department of History, was co – organizer of Meet The Author Program on 6th October, 2022, at ICFAI University, with K Remruatfela, author of Indian Union Chhunga Zofate Rinluh Kan Nih Dan.
  • Dr. Laithangpuii, Department of History, undertook a project titled ‘History of The Mizo Chiefs Vandula and Ropuiliani’ from SEL Foundation chanmari Aizawl 2022-2023 (ongoing).
  • Fiona Lalmalsawmi, Department of Political Science, organized a special lecture on the ‘Scope and Prospect of Political Science in Civil Service Exam’ on 20th January, 2023.The lecture was given by Mr. VL Chaka Hmar, Mizoram Civil Service (2020 batch).
  • Fiona Lalmalsawmi, Department of Political Science, organized a special lecture as part of our faculty exchange program on “Relevance of Western Political Philosophy” on 20th January 2023.The lecture was given by Dr. Benjamin Lalfakzuala, Assistant Professor, Mizoram Christian College.
